So I didn't do so well at getting picture of my kids in there costumes so here is

Ethan and his buddy Easton on Halloween day. They were playing together and decided they needed to play spiderman. They both spent most of the day in their costumes being spidermen.

Ethan had not decided what he was going to dress up as until they were playing that day because I had several things he could have been. Kyra was a cute little pumpkin sorry I didn't get her picture taken. We had a good Halloween night. our ward had pot luck soup and chili then followed by the trunk or treat.

It was stake conference Sunday and so when we got out Ethan said can we go some where? So we asked where he wanted to go of course it was to grandma and grandpa's but that's to far. David wanted lunch so we decided to go home fix up a picnic and take it and eat it near the temple . so that is what we did. I turned out to be a great Sunday activity that we all enjoyed. first we ate lunch and played in the grass for a bit . Then we went for a walk around the temple grounds and then to the visitors center. when we where done there Ethan really wanted to go to a park to play so we decided to do that also.

I wish this picture turned out a little better but it still shows the interest Ethan had in the Christus. Ethan walked right up to it and touched it's hand and body . it was fun to see children's reaction. a statue of Christ that size is something special to behold. The spirit is always so strong when you are in places like the visitors center.

Kyra was very intrigued with the Christus she wanted to touch it. she ooh and aah at it, she seemed like she really knew who he was and wanted him. It is amazing to think how much those little ones must remember from the other side of the veil. I Know that was always one of my favorite things to witness working at the visitors center in New York was the children's reaction as they walked in and saw the Christus. You could see it in their eye that they had a special connection with Christ.

Kyra new adventure

I was cooking dinner one night and of course Kyra always has to be at my feet or pulling everything out of the cupboards. this night was a little diff rent she was actually playing in the drawer that is OK for her to play in. it is just cookie cutter and little things like that. So I was cooking away not really paying attention to her because she was right there playing with the cookie cutters and I looked down and not only was she playing with them she was in the drawer with them. luckily the camera was right there so I could capture the moment. Then my only worry was that she might break the drawer.

Kyra 1st Birthday

Aunt julie and janel helped her blow out her candle. she just sat and tried to figure out what was going on and why everyone was singing and looking at her. we even tried to give her a second chance to blow out the candle and she just was not interested.

I am loving this cake Grandma, thanks for making it just for me!

This is my funny face. I like to pull this face when I know i am doing something I am not supposed to do or that I think is really funny. sometime it is just to get every ones attention.
I think she got a much cake in her hair as she did in her mouth. she loves to put food in the little bit of hair that she has.

Its not very often that we get a picture with all of us in it especially smiling not that it is a perfect picture but it is pretty good for a snap shot.

This is our little cowboy Ethan. He looks so handsome all geared up. As we were walking up to get in line several people said look at that little cowboy.

Grandma and papa miles treated us to dinner and a show at Bar J. This is them with Kyra waiting in line.

Ethan really wanted to go on the little train ride around the Bar J grounds. So mom and dad went with him. They have lots of statues to look at like bears fishing, men hunting deer, Indians,and moose. It is a fun short little ride to buy time while you are waiting for dinner to start.

Ethan is helping uncle Gordon pull pipe. Ethan loves to play on this machine with all of his neighbor friends. It is our neighbors so they play on it often . I think he was thrilled we he go to sit on it while it was actually working.

This is not a great pic but it shows the truck all of the rock came on we had two loads brought out. We were grateful for the great help we had from Doug placing all the rock off the truck.Sorry I didn't get any picture of the almost finished project. I will have to post some when we get it complete with some plants and stuff.

You got to love the runny noses we have been wiping noses since we have moved to Rigby. We Don't have grass yet so dirt is what they have to play with when they go outside.

Ethan was outside playing in the dirt and Kyra wanted to join in. They had alot of fun playing with the Tonka trucks. Needless to say Kyra love to eat the dirt and rocks as much as she likes to play with it.

Labor Day in Nampa

Fun Things We Have Done Since We Moved

Ethan Mom, and Dad playing in the spinning seat at Tautphaus Park.we spent lots of time at this park while we were staying in the hotel. It is a great park. We all had lots of fun.

On our house hunting trip our hotel was right across the street from the river and the temple. There were lots of ducks and Ethan wanted to feed them, so we asked the hotel staff if they could give us some bread. they found us some But only because we have cute kids that usually have a way with people and getting what they want!
